Star Factor Research analysis

Star factor research aims to combine the factors that make the brands, the most promising brands in India. This analysis and research will be conducted by the Indian Council of Marketing and Research (ICMR) across India to gather as to what has gone into the making of the brands which are the most promising in their respective industries.

Carried out on a research base of 22 centres spread pan-India, these brands were analysed on 3 parameters:

  • Perception: How is the brand perceived from the consumer's point of view?
  • Recall: How well is does the consumer remember the brand and its aspects?
  • Product innovation: How the company has fared in its offerings and what all research and development processes have been undertaken?
  • Impact on consumers: How the brand has left an impact in the consumers mind?
